Can you believe the love affair the media and the American public is having with Obama Barack? He has not done anything, yet he can do no wrong. I have never seen an incoming president hold so many press conferences to announce members of his cabinet and who he wants to work in his administration. The media watches his every move and debates how good a a president he will be. He has already scored a victory, if you let the media tell it, by having congress approve the rest of the bail out package. In all reality he had nothing to do with the second part of the bail out being released. This is just another "Obama is wonderful" moment that people want to attribute to him.
I would ask people to please hold all hope for his presidency until he has actually done something other than talk about what he will do. I am not an Obama basher, if I was I would be labeled a racist, but I do not think he is the "savior" the American people want him to be. According to his rhetoric and how he intends to dismantle our current war on terror he may be closer the Anti-Christ than a savior. We shall see.

Israel and the Palestinians
I know that the Israelites, Jews, Hebrews are GOD's chosen people. I am a Christian man and I will fight for this principle, because I also believe this to be true. I cannot understand how the world, (the Muslims, the liberals, the U.N. and all the other anti-Semitics), feel sorry for Hamas and what they have done to the Palestinian people.
Hamas can kidnap Israeli soldiers, fire rockets into Israel, and vowing for the destruction of Israel and not one anti-Semitic on the world stage raises an eyebrow. The United Nations is the biggest terrorist enabler to ever hold a position of influence. Not one person condemns what Hamas does. Not a damn one!
When Israel decides to retaliate the whole world feels sorry for "poor Hamas". Look what the mean Israelis are doing to the poor Palestinians. No one blames Hamas for purposely endangering their own people by their careless actions. They blame the Israelis for taking the offensive and trying to destroy their enemy first. I will stand with the Israelis and fight the evil that threatens their existence.
Now the Iranians decide that the state of Israel cannot survive in their version of the Middle East. It is not feasible for Israel to exist in the Iranian version of the Middle East. Not one word of condemnation from anyone. This statement by the Iranian president is, sad but true, a their foreign policy. Not one peep out of the anti-Semitic world establishment. What a damn shame!

Waterboarding is torture.
I cannot believe there are people in our country, let alone our incoming government, that believe waterboarding is torture. I know this is one topic that many people would accept a little better if every bleeding heart liberal in the world would stop walking around saying how horrible it must feel.
I admit that just because it was used should not mean the people enjoyed subjugating the terrorists to this type of treatment. If someone enjoyed waterboarding a terrorist then I might have an issue with it, but I don't because I believe it is not true. I totally support the effort of the people on the ground, who have to live the war day after day. If this means we have to torture a few terrorists then so be it. I will not lose sleep because a terrorist has been waterboarded to prevent further terrorist acts or to gain information.
I bet no bleeding heart liberal can deny we retrieved valuable information from the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. If you don't believe that you are an idiot. What bothers me is that the incoming administration has whole heartedly decried everything we have done to protect America. They are also prepared to dismantle Gitmo to appease the liberals and the radicals who would gladly die at the hands of a terrorist rather then treat them like should be treated.
Stay tuned for the giving away of our peace of mind.

Christmas displays in Washington State
Isn't it ironic how far liberals will go to satisfy the morally deficient people of our society? I understand why normal people would want to see a manger scene to represent Christmas. I also understand why we would display a Menorah. What I cannot understand is how an atheist group can display an offensive statement that denigrates religions and defend it as a symbol of their beliefs.
Does atheism infer a belief in GOD and the effect religion has on people? Can you hate something you do not believe in? Does atheism teach adherents to simply not believe in GOD or religion? Or does atheism teach adherents to hate GOD and religion? I find it very strange that one fringe element can hate things they do not believe exist.
I am not a perfect man, but I am a Christian man. I believe in GOD, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. My beliefs, my GOD, and my religion do not teach me to hate non-believers. I do challenge all atheists to relieve themselves of all money with a reference to GOD by donating it to a charity. If you do not believe in GOD you should not use money that acknowledges HIS existence. I would feel safe for calling atheists hypocritical for using money. This would seem to be a direct conflict with their beliefs.
I wish the governor of Washington State would request a spine in her next budget and stand up to these fringe groups. I would venture to say that these lunatics do not represent atheists around the world. I believe like most radical groups, they have appointed themselves as spokesmen for the whole group. It is a shame that a radical element of a group has hijacked a religion. Take a look at Islam. If an atheist group shares traits common with a religious group, does that make the atheist group a quasi-religion? Stay tuned for more radicalism from those non-believers.

Welcome to the Truth!
I will attempt to enlighten all of the unsuspecting and unknowing people who read these blogs. I am a retired soldier who is mentally still in the fight. I have a civilian career now and in another column I will address the cut throat world of corporate America. I am a sane person of sound mind and body.
I am college educated and a graduate of the school of hard knocks. I am well read and very opinionated. If you want entertaining and intelligent conversation then you have come to the right place.
I will talk to you on Monday. Have a good day.
